Bookkeeping v. taxes

Your bookkeeping is essentially your tax return.

When you hand your numbers to a once-a-year tax preparer, making sure those numbers are right is still on you. Missed payouts, lost receipts and a home office you never tracked all end up on the return.

That is why we stay involved in our clients’ bookkeeping, accounting and tax preparation together, so you have confidence that nothing is falling through the cracks.

Testimonials

Teacher sellers who stopped worrying about tax season.

“They are extremely knowledgeable about the tax laws related to selling resources on Teachers Pay Teachers.”

I work with All About Accounting and couldn't be more pleased! They are extremely knowledgeable about the tax laws related to selling resources on Teachers Pay Teachers which is extremely important. My accountant knows the ins and outs of my business which means I don't have to worry about any oversights. They have taken bookkeeping off my plate and have made the filing process a breeze. Their expertise has saved me so much time and money, and I would highly recommend their services to anyone looking for an accountant.

“I now am mostly hands off and get an amazing report every month.”

Emily was able to quickly and efficiently straighten out my past books and set up a great system going forward. I now am mostly hands off and get an amazing report every month summarizing the current state of financial affairs in my business. In addition, Emily and her team take care of both business and personal tax matters. Her team also helped with dealing with sales tax issues for my ecommerce business. Finally, the team is just lovely to work with…

“This resource is a MUST-HAVE for sellers who don’t already have a great system in place.”

The guide and spreadsheets are AMAZING!! It has everything you need to help you get organized for your taxes. I did not do a great job keeping track through the year (which I don't recommend) but this pulled all of my info together quickly and easily. This resource is a MUST-HAVE for sellers who don't already have a great system in place.

“For them is not just about helping with the books it is about planning ahead.”

Emily and her team handle everything including payroll for all 3 of my businesses as well as my personal financials. They are very knowledgable and professional. I have recommended them to a lot of my team members and even my mom. For them is not just about helping with the books it is about planning ahead.

Do you only work with Teachers Pay Teachers sellers?

TPT sellers and teacher-entrepreneurs are our specialty, and our tools are written for them. The same guidance applies to other service providers in the TPT community, such as virtual assistants, product photographers and social media managers.

Can you help me if I don’t live in Georgia?

Yes. We are based in Milton, Georgia and work virtually with teacher sellers in all states.

I don’t know if I’m a sole proprietor, an LLC or an S-Corp. Is that a problem?

Not at all. We prepare returns for sole proprietors, LLCs and S-Corps, and if you have no idea which one you are, we can tell you.

What is the Tax Efficiency Analysis?

It is our most popular service: a one-on-one consultation with tax advisor Emily Bryant, EA. It is usually a one-time event where you get actionable advice and tax-saving strategies to start implementing immediately, or to watch for as you grow.

Why does my bookkeeping matter so much for my taxes?

Your bookkeeping is essentially your tax return. A once-a-year preparer works from the numbers you hand over, so the responsibility for getting them right rests on you. We stay involved in bookkeeping, accounting and tax preparation so nothing falls through the cracks.

Do I need to charge sales tax on my own website?

It depends on where your buyers are. If you sell on your own website, our Self Guided Sales Tax Nexus Evaluation walks you through it, or you can book a meeting and ask us directly.

What are your hours?

Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm Eastern. We are closed Saturday, Sunday and holidays.
